This is a rare and exciting opportunity due to the planned retirement of the current Registered Manager. The home is currently rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted and provides care for 5 young females, with a particular focus on supporting those affected by CSE. You’ll benefit from a structured handover alongside the outgoing manager, ensuring you are set up for success and fully supported in the transition. Role: Registered Home Manager – Children’s Residential Care Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Bonuses (OTE £70k in Year 1) Bonus: 5k Welcome Bonus 21% Annual Performance Bonus Annual Leave: 32 days including Bank Holidays Type: Full-time, Permanent Key Responsibilities: Lead the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a consistently high standard of care. Provide strong, trauma-informed leadership to staff and young people alike. Manage referrals, local authority engagement, and multi-agency working. Maintain the home’s Outstanding Ofsted rating, with full regulatory compliance. Mentor, supervise and professionally develop your team. Oversee budgeting, safeguarding, care planning, and stakeholder engagement. ✅ Requirements: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Demonstrated experience managing children’s residential homes. Proven success leading Ofsted inspections. Deep understanding of trauma-informed practice and CSE support. Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaborative working skills.
