Description Grade UE05: £29,588 - £33,951 per annum (plus 15% Premium Band on top for flexible working that makes the total annual salary ranging from £34,026 to £39,043) Work pattern: variable shifts, mostly 4-day week work pattern consisting of dayshift, backshift and occasional weekends Information Services Group / Learning Teaching and Web Directorate / Learning Spaces Technology (LST) Full-time: 35 hours per week Fixed-term: for 2 years We are looking for a highly motivated AV/IT Technician to work in our Service Team, providing specialist technical support to a community of over 40,000 staff and students. The Opportunity: You will help us provide technical expertise in range of audio-visual and IT solutions for: teaching spaces, events and conferences, meeting rooms, equipment loans, open access study and digital signage. If you are an experienced “all-round” technician who has skills and experience in audio-visual equipment and computer hardware we would love to hear from you. Your skills and attributes for success: Proven experience and technical knowledge of a wide range of audio-visual / IT equipment and systems. An ability to maintain, service, fault diagnose, test and repair to at least mid-level, AV and IT related equipment and ability to provide advice and guidance to end users. Excellent written and verbal skills, with an ability to communicate with people at all levels.
