KÍLÉNTÀR is seeking a highly strategic and culturally intelligent communications professional to help shape the next era of the brand globally. This is not a traditional fashion PR or social media role.
We are looking for someone who deeply understands luxury fashion, emotional storytelling, founder positioning, editorial ecosystems, cultural influence, and prestige brand building.
Founded by Michelle Adepoju, KÍLÉNTÀR is a globally recognised luxury womenswear brand rooted in craftsmanship, storytelling, and modern African design.
As we enter our next phase of growth, we are looking for someone who can help strengthen and evolve the narrative architecture around both the brand and founder at a world-class level.
The Role
This role will sit closely alongside the Founder and leadership team to shape how KÍLÉNTÀR is positioned, understood, experienced, and remembered globally.
The ideal candidate understands that modern luxury brands are built not only through product, but through narrative, perception, emotion, cultural relevance, and strategic visibility.
Responsibilities
* Lead and refine KÍLÉNTÀR’s global brand narrative and communication strategy
* Shape founder positioning for Michelle Adepoju across fashion, business, culture, and thought leadership
* Develop compelling storytelling frameworks across campaigns, interviews, editorials, partnerships, events, and brand communications
* Strengthen the emotional and cultural positioning of the brand globally
* Identify and build strategic relationships across media, fashion, luxury, culture, and creative industries
* Work closely with PR teams, creative teams, and leadership to ensure consistency in brand voice and positioning
* Help identify opportunities that elevate the long‑term cultural and industry positioning of the brand
* Contribute to world‑building, campaign ideation, and strategic visibility moments
* Ensure all communication aligns with the level of a globally respected luxury house
Ideal Candidate
* Strong background in luxury fashion, communications, editorial, brand strategy, cultural storytelling, or founder positioning
* Deep understanding of the global luxury and fashion ecosystem
* Strong editorial and narrative instincts
* Understands how to build long‑term brand prestige and cultural relevance
* Highly strategic thinker with emotional intelligence and strong cultural awareness
* Strong network across fashion/media/culture is highly valued
* Experience working with founders, premium brands, creative businesses, or luxury clients preferred
* Excellent communication and writing skills
* Able to think beyond trends and build long‑term influence
Minimum 3+ years experience within luxury fashion, communications, editorial, brand strategy, cultural storytelling, or founder positioning
Location
