Salary: £33,- £39,
Hours: 36 per week
We have 2 full time positions available.
We're looking for an inspiring Outdoor Instructor to join the City of Edinburgh Council's Benmore Outdoor Centre team.
Your mission? To deliver high-quality adventurous activities and outdoor learning experiences for:
1. School children from Edinburgh and beyond (core)
2. Youth groups, organisations & charities (commercial)
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our experienced team, you'll plan and deliver adventurous activities with clear development opportunities and learning outcomes for every group.
3. Take groups into the wild and inspiring landscapes of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park
4. Use your skills, experience, and qualifications to tailor activities and venues to meet the needs of each group
5. Play an active role in developing both yourself and the centre's future

National Governing Body Qualifications:
Essential
16. Summer Mountain Leader
17. Rock Climbing instructor
18. British Canoeing Paddle Sport Instructor & Touring leader or equivalents
19. British Cycling Level 2 or equivalent

Desirable
20. RYA Dingy Instructor
21. RYA powerboat level 2
22. D1 Minibus driving entitlement
23. Gorge walking and Caving experience
