Description
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
Support cash flow monitoring and reporting to maintain financial stability.
Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient financial controls.
Provide support for ongoing professional development, including study assistance.Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
Progress towards a recognised accountancy qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
Experience in management accounting within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools, including Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate financial information clearly.
