Electrician – Teesside Area

Are you a qualified Electrician with a passion for quality workmanship and safety? Join Anchor Repairs & Property Services (ARPS) and help us deliver outstanding electrical services to homes across Teesside.
As part of our dedicated team, you'll carry out installations, inspections, and testing to ensure our homes remain safe, compliant, and in excellent condition. This is a site-based role, requiring travel within the Teesside area—so flexibility and a full UK driving licence are essential.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Electrical installations, inspections, testing, and repairs
2. Diagnosing faults and delivering effective solutions
3. Ensuring all work complies with the latest electrical safety legislation
4. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation and being fully conversant with the current NICEIC 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
5. Working independently or as part of a team to complete jobs to high standards
6. Maintaining and caring for company tools and equipment
7. Completing site documentation accurately and on time
8. Following all SHEQ and PPE guidelines to work safely
What we’re looking for:
9. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
10. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
11. City & Guilds 2391 or EAL Inspection & Testing qualification
12. JIB Gold Card
13. Proven experience in electrical repairs and maintenance, ideally in housing or care environments
14. A full, valid UK driving licence
15. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a professional approach
