Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of engineers? We're looking for a dedicated and professional Lecturer to join our Engineering team, delivering high-quality teaching across lectures, workshops, and practical sessions. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping the curriculum, developing engaging course materials, and providing hands-on skills training using industry-relevant techniques and equipment. You'll support students through assessment, feedback, and guidance, helping them achieve their learning goals in a positive and inclusive environment. Working collaboratively within the wider Technology curriculum team, you'll contribute to a cohesive learning experience across all provision types, including Young People, Adults, and Apprentices.
You will be a passionate and knowledgeable individual with a Level 3 qualification in Engineering, ideally specialising in either electrical or mechanical practices. You'll bring a solid understanding of wider engineering disciplines and current industry standards, along with a creative and adaptive approach to teaching that supports diverse learner needs. If you don't already hold teaching and assessor qualifications, you'll need to be committed to achieving them within a set timeframe. As a collaborative team player, you'll contribute positively to curriculum development and student success, while actively engaging in your own professional growth. A strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion is essential, as is holding GCSEs (or equivalent Level 2 qualifications) in English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
