Key Responsibilities: Managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects Performing cost analysis and preparing budget forecasts Evaluating and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards Managing project finances, including cost control and cash flow management Overseeing the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other necessary documentation Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met Providing guidance and support to junior quantity surveyors on the team Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and other relevant legislation Job Requirements: Experience in quantity surveying, with a preference for senior-level candidates having significant experience in the field Highways/Infrastructure experience NEC Contract experience Proficiency in commercial management and contract administration Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Thorough understanding of construction processes and industry standards Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying tasks Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying or a related field Benefits: Competitive salary (Including subsistence for those 55 miles from Norwich).
