Live in Couple Job in Hampshire
We have a lovely position for dedicated and pro-active couple to join an informal family home in Hampshire. The ideal couple will enjoy a rural lifestyle and must love dogs. The family have 3 grown up children who visit occasionally. They have 2 Labrador dogs.
This main house consists of 7 bedrooms. The property sits on 120 acres of land, mainly farmland, with the actual garden area being about 2/3 acres.
The couple have a flat in London and usually spend 2 nights there mid-week so you must be happy to take care of the dogs when they are away.
The position is full time for the Groundsman and part time for the Housekeeper. They would also consider one full-time person who does 50% Housekeeping and 50% Gardening.
A full time Gardener is also employed.
Duties to include but not limited to:
1. Housekeeping, (a newly renovated property)
2. Laundry, ironing, and fabric care
3. Care of antiques and delicate items
4. Running errands and shopping
5. Helping in the kitchen when required, cooking is not a requirement but would be a bonus
6. Gardening (alongside a full-time gardener)
7. Groundsman duties
8. Interior and exterior maintenance
9. Upkeep of the swimming pool and tennis court
10. Dog care
11. Houseman duties (stock wood, lay fires)
12. Driving duties and vehicle maintenance (keep the cars clean and serviced)
13. Pet sitting when the principals are in London and when they travel
14. Security
This is an informal household who are looking for a couple who enjoy their work and get on well with others.
Start Date: When the right person is found
Accommodation: 2-bedroom cottage. Utility bills included. A dog would be considered.
Working week: Monday – Friday
15. Gardener/Handyman: 40 hours a week, 8/8:30am – 4:30/5pm
16. Housekeeper: 20 hours a week, 9am – 1pm
Salary: £50,000 gross per annum (for couple) Salary different for single person
