Main Responsibilities:
All dealers should be skilled in executing Blackjack, Roulette, Three Card Poker, and, through further training, Texas Hold'em Poker and Punto Banco where required.
* The dealer must maintain control of the game when dealing.
* The dealer is responsible for shuffling cards, spinning the wheel, dealing cards, calculating and paying winning bets, changing cash into house chips, and collecting losing bets.
* The dealer will change chip colors for players, answer questions, and provide guidance on game rules.
* Beyond traditional dealer duties, our dealers provide entertainment and hospitality, with customer service quality contributing to our venues' and company's success.
* Compliance with all relevant legislation is crucial. Dealers must be knowledgeable about Safer Gaming and Anti-Money Laundering policies, undertake regular training, and report any concerns immediately to their line manager.
Who You Are:
* Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude at all times.
* Acknowledge players when they arrive at the tables.
* Remain patient and polite, even in disagreements or disputes.
* Explain the MetCard loyalty programme, always ask for the loyalty card, and encourage its use.
* Deal all games following procedures including "The Rules of the Game" and the Gaming Manual.
* Conduct game commentary clearly, audibly, and informatively.
* Report persistent problematic behaviors indicative of problem gambling.
* Be aware of body language indicating collusion or misconduct and report suspicions promptly.
* Continuously improve technical skills to enhance game efficiency.
* Complete all mandatory training and participate in meetings and workshops.
* Assist colleagues with informal coaching when possible.
* Report any security concerns regarding the games immediately.
* Regularly check gaming equipment for functionality and report issues.
* Report suspicious incidents as per AML training guidelines.
* Uphold the company's commitment to protecting young and vulnerable people, adhering to responsible gambling policies.
This role requires working evenings, weekends, and shifts that cover a 24/7 schedule. Dealers will spend much of their shift on their feet, working directly with the public.
