AA Euro Healthcare is welcoming applications from experienced healthcare professionals.
We are seeking agency relief Support Workers for our well-established clients based in Portsmouth. The suitable candidate will be working for us on behalf of one of the UK's biggest social care charities.
Requirements for this role include:
* Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care certificate
* One year's experience working with adults with physical & intellectual disabilities
* Up-to-date Medicines Administration training
* Up-to-date Safety Intervention training
* Ability to work as part of a team or independently
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
* Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
* Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior
* Implement behavior management techniques as needed
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
* Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
