Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, positive and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within our care home.
Responsibilities
* Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors; clean windows, surfaces, and furniture.
* Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, including restocking supplies and ensuring proper sanitation.
* Handle waste disposal in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Provide excellent customer service by responding to client requests and inquiries in a professional manner.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless cleaning operation.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning, care home or hotel environments is essential.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as required.
* A basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous.
