Project Engineer – Engineering/Process Environment
My client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage projects from order to installation and handover. This office-based role involves site visits across the UK and occasional overseas travel, including overseeing on-site installations and managing subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:

Own projects from start to finish, acting as the main customer contact.
*
Develop project scope and maintain schedules (Gantt charts).
*
Prepare project documentation (BOMs, P&IDs, layout drawings).
*
Source components and manage project changes.
*
Coordinate delivery, installation, testing, training, and handover.
*
Ensure commercial awareness and timely invoicing.
Skills & Experience:
*
Proven track record in process or engineering project delivery.
*
Experience in manufacturing or technical environments, ideally food processing.
*
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
*
Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD LT.
*
Knowledge of steam systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, pipework; basic electrical understanding a plus.
*
Full UK driving licence
