Job Description
3. Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
4. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
5. Monitor and control costs to align with financial objectives.
6. Collaborate with department heads to support financial decision-making.
7. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
8. Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
9. Contribute to the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.
10. Support ongoing process improvements within the finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
12. Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
14. Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector is advantageous.
15. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
16. Familiarity with relevant financial software and tools.
17. A proactive approach to improving financial processes and systems.
