Interim Site Supervisor on a FTC (3 month) or contract basis required for an automotive small/medium component manufacturer based in Daventry. The ideal candidate will be based locally and have experience managing a production environment as well as strong management skills.

* Ensure all staff are kitted, have works orders and SOP's
* Lead by example, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace is maintained at all times
* Responsible for stock checks and PI's
* Ensure that resource is in place to meet the plan
* Ensure that all staff are working to plan and full efficiency
* Ensure all product is correctly identified and in the correct place on shopfloor.
* Transfer labour to required areas
* Liaise and coordinate with support functions to progress issues concerning production planning and resource/skill allocation to ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications
* Work directly with operatives
* Ensure safe working practices are maintained and 'Standard Operations' adhered to
* Ensure that non-conformance is challenged and counter-measures are agreed and implemented
