Job Description:
WANT TO TAKE YOUR CONSTRUCTION CAREER TO AUSTRALIA...?
- Under the age of 35 in Scotland/the UK/Ireland?
- Experience in civil engineering projects, or working with a large main building contractor?
- Ever considered heading to Australia?
Then you need to apply/get in touch - let us walk you through how to make this move a reality!
Contract Scotland/CS International Recruitment works in partnership with PD Project Delivery, an Australian construction and project management company providing civil engineering & construction management expertise across Australia. They deliver projects including roads, highways, rail, water, renewables, and bulk earthworks.
If you have experience in civil engineering site/project environments or large building projects (externals, piling, concrete frames/slipform, etc), you could have your visa for Australia in 24 hours and be on your way to a new challenge Down Under.
We’ve placed many Engineers from Scotland/the UK who successfully relocated to Australia, and we can share their experiences with you. PD Project Delivery’s leadership team, including those who moved from the UK over a decade ago, understands the relocation process and is ready to support you.
Work is mainly across Queensland, including Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Townsville, with projects also in other states such as New South Wales, Western Australia, Victoria, South Australia, and the Northern Territory.
With significant investment in infrastructure, the pipeline for major projects continues to grow.
For example, Queensland alone has a five-year pipeline valued at $103.9bn, with $65bn already funded!
As a Project Engineer in Australia, your responsibilities will include:
1. Coordinating all project aspects to meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
2. Conducting site inspections and quality control.
3. Attending project meetings, providing progress updates, and maintaining communication with clients.
4. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
5. Providing technical support to project teams.
6. Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
