IT Sales Account Manager – FE & Independent Schools
Location: Nottingham
Working Style: Hybrid (Home/Office/Client Site)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 pa DOE + Monthly Commission

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Business Development:
* Create and execute sales strategies targeting UK FE & Independent schools, building a healthy and consistent pipeline to achieve sales targets.
* Proactively identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and other business development activities.
* Identify new sales opportunities, and lead consultative selling conversations, leveraging market research and industry/sector insights.
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and renewals, ensuring commercial success and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver and implement tailored solutions, ensuring a smooth onboarding/transition.
* Ensure all sales activity and account information is consistently and accurately recorded with thin the internal CRM system.
* Account Management & Development:
* Create and execute strategic account plans to retain and grow spend within existing customer base of FE & Independent Schools.
* Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key-decision makers and stakeholders.
* Conduct regular account reviews, identifying renewals and upsell opportunities.
* Provide market insights to the relevant internal teams, sharing best practices, customer feedback, and intelligence to support peers and inform product/marketing strategies.
* Represent the business at local/national education conferences, exhibitions, and events.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* 3+ years Sales Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar role within Education Technology / VAR / Channel.
* FE & Independent Schools experience.
* Commercially astute and target driven with a track record of achieving/exceeding targets.
* Confident, enthusiastic, and highly self-motivated with a consultative sales approach.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal.
* Experience with Salesforce is preferred but is not essential.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft suite, and CRM software.
