About the role LS Events is seeking a passionate and experienced Projects Manager to join our team of dedicated events professionals. This role will play an integral role in coordinating and managing complex, large-scale and multi-agency events across various sectors. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Hold overall responsibility for the day to day management of our project plan; reporting against workstreams and coordinating updates from team members; Produce documentation to an outstanding quality, with absolute attention to detail. Project Oversight: Take responsibility for the management of the overall delivery of a safe and successful, large-scale event; Ensure the project is planned, and delivered, in line with our ISO commitments and that our established processes and procedures are followed at all times; Work with all departments to ensure cross-project learning is shared and implemented. On-Site Responsibilities: Actively contribute to the delivery of the project during the build, break, and live phases.- taking an active management of assigned workstreams and responsibilities (ie stewarding and security, ingress / egress planning, sound management etc). Stepping-up to a leadership role in the Operations Director’s absence. Lead briefings and project mobilisation plans, collaborating with the project team to develop training tools and events, and ensuring all on-site personnel are effectively briefed and prepared for their roles. Leading Site and Stakeholder Meetings: this includes managing SAG, local authority, business and residents engagement and other key agencies. About you Applicants should have: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members of varying seniority levels; Excellent logistical, analytical and problem-solving skills; Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines; Proven leadership skills to guide and motivate cross-functional teams; Proficiency in budget planning, management, and control; Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively, including contract negotiation and procurement; Ability to review and critic technical supplier documents (traffic management, structure contractors etc) Proven experience in the production of supplier specifications and management of supplier KPIs (ie scope of works) Experience of event licensing, security and health and safety; Comfortable leading and managing multistakeholder meetings; Technical proficiency with IT systems (Google Suite, Airtable). What we're looking for 5 plus years experience of managing large-scale events (35,000). Up to date understanding of the latest regulations, best practice and requirements for the delivery of large-scale events. Desirable: Education: A relevant degree or certification in Project Management / a related field or equivalent is preferred; Professional qualifications: IOSH/NEBOSH. Contract Terms Salary: From £44,554.00/annum (pro rata) DOE Contract type: Fixed Term Contract Hours: 37.5 hours/week Contract Length: Until 31/08/26 Holidays: 24 days bank holidays (pro rata)
