We have an exciting new vacancy for a Receptionist to join our team at The Royal Hotel in Scarborough. Pinpointed at the centre of Scarborough the Royal Hotel Scarborough offers easy accessibility by public transportation. Overlooking the beautiful South Bay, The Royal Hotel dates to the 1830s and boasts 159 classically styled bedrooms as well as a favourable sea views from the Restaurant area.

Your duties will include:
Welcoming guests and checking guests in and out on front of house system
Advising guests and visitors about the facilities on site.
Being the point of contact for our guests during their stay
Answering the telephone, making reservations, taking payments, reconciling the shift and balancing floats.
The successful candidate will be organised, punctual and well-presented, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of Opera systems would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be given.
