About the Company:
Our client is a well-established and respected commercial vehicle manufacturing business based in Droitwich Spa, with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and delivering high standards across the transport industry. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle Prepper to join their production team.
The Role:
As a Commercial Vehicle Prepper, you will play a key role in preparing commercial vehicles and components to a high standard prior to paint and final finishing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing company offering long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare commercial vehicles, panels, and components for paint application
* Sanding, filling, and surface preparation
* Ensure all work meets company quality standards
* Inspect surfaces for imperfections and rectify where required
* Work closely with paint and production departments
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Adhere to health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper, Bodyshop Prepper, or similar role
* Experience working on commercial vehicles, HGVs, vans, trailers, or fleet vehicles preferred
* Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
* Ability to work efficiently to deadlines
* Good team player with a positive attitude
* Knowledge of bodyshop tools and preparation techniques
