We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Employability Tutor to deliver the City & Guilds Level 1 Employability Skills qualification. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, learner-centred sessions in line with City & Guilds Level 1 standards. Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility. Provide outstanding pastoral support, helping learners overcome personal and emotional barriers to learning. Foster a safe, nurturing and motivational environment that promotes personal growth and resilience. Work holistically with learners to build confidence, self-esteem, and employability prospects. Track and assess learner progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with awarding body and internal requirements. Essential Skills & Qualities: A teaching qualification or assessor qualification and experience delivering accredited courses. Exceptional pastoral care and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with learners. Holistic approach to education – recognising the individual beyond the curriculum. A can-do attitude, emotional intelligence, and a genuine passion for learner success. Desirable: Experience working with NEET learners or those facing barriers to education and employment. Annual salary: £26,877 - £41,414 per annum Full Time Equivalent – will be pro rata for part time (subject to qualifications, skills and experience). Hours: part time, 18.5 hours per week, full year, fixed term contract until July 2026.
