OR On behalf of a market-leading SME located in Essex, I am looking for an experienced IT Technician to support organisational expansion plans with 1st/2nd Line IT Support.
On-Site Monday-Friday
Inside IR35
4 month contract with the opportunity to move to Permanent
Reporting into the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for:
1. Resolve all issues as a first point of contact where possible (software and hardware).
2. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring adherence to project goals, timelines, and resource allocation.
3. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to analyse project requirements.
4. Complex technical challenges and issues encountered during project development, providing solutions to keep the project within scope.
5. Management of Exchange Online, inclusive of troubleshooting issues.
6. Management of devices using Microsoft InTune or other MDM solutions to enforce security policies and control access to corporate resources
7. Troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services, hardware, software, and network problems
8. Identify and assess cyber-security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats, and create risk mitigation strategies.
9. Manage User Access Control
Skills/Experience required:
10. Proven commercial experience with 1st/2nd Line IT Support
11. A particular strength with O365 suite (SharePoint, Power BI, etc) and a willingness to progress in this area, is essential.
12. A working knowledge of InTune would be highly beneficial
13. A self-starter with ambitions for career progression.
