What you’ll do:
The purpose of this role is helping to drive through standardised best practices and continuous improvement culture across the depot operation ensuring that agreed bluebook Standard Operating Processes are fully implemented and effectively embedded.
The role will ensure that current key processes are documented, and colleagues are clear on the best practise processes and are fully trained to a competent standard and that any new processes and initiatives are fully rolled out to existing colleagues.
The role will require travel and overnight stays to ensure the team is flexible to be in any depot where the requirement sits any a specific time.
Key Role Responsibilities:
* Working with the depot teams to drive a culture of best practices and standardisation of processes within Depot operation.
* Using operational experience to support the review of bluebook practices to ensure fit for purpose in today’s operational environment.
* Supporting the documentation of the update bluebook processes.
* Ensuring all agreed SOPs are effectively used and embedded into the operation.
* Driving improved performance through effective processes and coaching initially to lowest performing depots as part of a team and then to continuously raise the bar on performance in all depots.
* Challenging current working practices and ways of working and helping other managers/ colleagues understand the benefits of following bluebook processes.
* Demonstrating operational KPI performance improvements over agreed timeframes.
* Leading, coaching and training on Continuous Improvement tools and best practices, ensure sustainability improvements.
* Working in conjunction with DevOps/Client Dev, being responsible for the rollout of new processes across depot operations, ensuring they are fit for purpose and tailored to local needs, and that they are fully embedded

What We’re Looking For:
* Experience of Stakeholder Management particularly in a matrix structure
* Evidence of using MI to develop insight into process failure and the ability to translate this into clear action plans
* Professional understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and evidence of using/implementing them in a standard processing environment
* Depth of experience in operational processes and ways of working
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* A strong motivator and ability to support and coach for performance
* Challenges poor workplace behaviour and role models the correct inclusive behaviour
* Able to build relationships with a number of stakeholders cross functionally across the organisation at differing levels, influencing positively and challenging effectively and professionally where required
* Takes ownership of issues and sees them through to resolution
