Global Energy Nigg are currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to support the HSEQ team, based at our Nigg Energy Park site, in the Highlands of Scotland.
This will be a permanent role, based upon 40 hours per week (competitive salary/benefits).
The successful candidate will have experience and aptitude for the following areas:
1. Proven experience in a similar HSE role.
2. Acting as the PTW issuing authority ensuring co-ordination and control of Permits. Maintaining PtW register and SIMOPS board.
3. Hands-on knowledge of auditing and ISO 45001 / 14001 / 9001 frameworks.
4. Maintaining memberships and accreditations as directed by Head of Group HSEQ Manager.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
6. Coaching and influencing stakeholders, to facilitate continuous HSE improvement throughout the organisation.
7. Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations, reporting findings and recommending actions.
8. Assisting managers to close out actions arising from HSE audits by customers, third parties and internal audits.
9. Carrying out HSE tours, assisting Head of Group HSEQ Manager with incident investigations, writing reports and making recommendations.
10. Coordinating and interacting with other business units as required by the Head of Group HSEQ Manager.
Essential Qualification/Certification
11. NEBOSH General Certificate or relevant N/SVQ Level 3 and 2.
12. Root Cause Analysis Facilitator.
13. First Aid Trained.
14. UK driving license.
15. Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and auditing.
16. Excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills.
Desirable
17. Auditor qualification.
18. ISO accreditation experience.
