We are seeking an individual to take on a pivotal role in delivering full and comprehensive business management within the Pharmacy Service. This position demands highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the postholder responsible for planning, directing, and implementing a wide range of business and support services. You will lead the organisation and scheduling of core business functions, drive forward planning, and manage key projects that support the strategic goals of the service. Previous experience at this level would be highly advantageous.
Strong IT capabilities are essential, including proficiency in Staffnet, Excel, MS Teams, and web-based platforms, alongside the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will play a vital role in supporting the expanding Prescribing Support Unit and Medicines Governance Unit, providing committee support and contributing to the wider Pharmacy Teams across NHS Tayside.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement databases aligned with key service priorities, while also leading the creation of innovative communication formats and supporting website development for the Pharmacy Service. You will be a central figure in leading the Pharmacy administration team across multiple sites, while also collaborating as part of the wider NHS Tayside Pharmacy administration network.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
