Our Employment Plus Services is looking to employ an Employability Support Apprentice to work in a supported learning environment, developing skills and knowledge to complete necessary qualifications, secure employment, and progress in their career.
Please note: this role is based in Bristol, with potential travel across Bristol, Bath, and South Gloucestershire.
Responsibilities:
1. Undertake a development programme leading to a Level 3 in Business Administration as part of an apprenticeship.
2. Participate actively in your development plan, as agreed with your Line Manager and the training assessor.
3. Develop practical skills in Employability Support, including case loading, person-centred support, team working, motivational interviewing, action planning, reporting, and understanding employability legislation.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Level 2 qualification in English, Mathematics, and Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
* Willingness to follow instructions and learn new tasks.
* Ability to work flexibly in a team and in a community-focused environment.
* Good work ethic and motivation to work with those disadvantaged by unemployment.
* Willingness to take responsibility for personal development and to complete the apprenticeship.
* Ability to travel within the region to gain comprehensive experience of our delivery.
