We're working on behalf of a fantastic Alternative Provision in Stroud that is looking for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to join the team, ideally for an immediate start.
The school supports students who have been included from mainstream education, so the work is vital and rewarding. The role involves supporting KS3 students who may exhibit challenging behaviour; experience in this area is essential. Experience working in a special school is preferred, but candidates with a mainstream background are also encouraged to apply.
The role
The Teaching Assistant will support the class teacher with various tasks and remain proactive throughout the school day to effectively support teachers.
