A growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Baildon is seeking an experienced Client Bookkeeper to join its busy and supportive team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a bookkeeping professional looking to work within a modern practice environment, gaining exposure to a varied client portfolio across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bookkeeping for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
2. Preparation of management accounts and financial reports
3. VAT return preparation and submission
4. Use of cloud and desktop accounting software including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
5. Assisting senior accountants with client work
6. Liaising directly with clients as required
7. Payroll experience would be highly advantageous
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
8. Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice environment preferred
9. Industry experience will also be considered where relevant
10. Experience using at least one accounting software package such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
11. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
13. Flexible and hands-on approach
14. Excellent communication and time management skills
15. Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Training can be provided on software packages where needed.
