Assistant Quantity Surveyor - The Company
Our client is a growing and respected regional main contractor delivering commercial refurbishment projects within 45 minutes of Bristol, typically between £200k and £5 million. With a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation built on repeat business, the company continues to grow in a controlled and sustainable way.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor - The Role
Based from the Bristol office (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) with site visits across the region, this role offers the opportunity to take on real responsibility while continuing to develop commercially.
You will support the commercial management of multiple projects, working closely with senior members of the team and gaining exposure across the full project lifecycle, from procurement through to final accounts.
Responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with cost control, forecasting, and reporting across live projects
* Preparing and submitting interim valuations
* Supporting subcontractor procurement and package management
* Assisting with variations, change control, and final accounts
* Maintaining accurate commercial records and documentation
* Working closely with site teams to support project delivery and commercial performance
Assistant Quantity Surveyor - The Person
* Minimum 1 year experience in a Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveyor role
* Experience gained with a main contractor or subcontractor environment
* Comfortable working from a Bristol office 2 days with regional site travel
* Strong commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
* Keen to progress toward a Quantity Surveyor role
