Job Opportunity: Global Statistical Lead in Oncology
We are supporting a leading global biopharmaceutical company in their search for an experienced Global Statistical Lead with a strong background in oncology drug development. This high-impact individual contributor role offers the opportunity to provide strategic input across clinical development, focusing on Phase I–III oncology studies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic statistical leadership to support clinical development plans, especially in oncology and immuno-oncology programs.
2. Lead and coordinate all statistical activities across multiple functions such as Clinical Development, Biomarkers, and Medical Affairs.
3. Collaborate with and guide study-level statisticians, ensuring quality and consistency across trials.
4. Support submissions and regulatory strategies, including participation in key interactions with health authorities.
5. Influence cross-functional decision-making by working closely with Clinical, Regulatory, and other stakeholders.
6. Apply advanced statistical methodologies, including Bayesian frameworks and survival analysis, to support data-driven decisions.
Key Requirements:
1. PhD with a minimum of 9 years, or Master’s degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
2. Strong expertise in oncology clinical trials, with experience in Phase I–III studies.
3. Proven experience in statistical strategy, including input to clinical development plans and submissions.
4. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decisions without direct line management.
5. Proficiency in survival analysis; familiarity with Bayesian methods is highly desirable.
