Role Purpose
To provide administrative and scheduling support to ensure the smooth day to day running of the care service. The Office Administrator will manage staff rotas, support care staff, handle communications, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and update staff rotas and schedules
- Communicate with staff regarding shifts, changes, and availability
- Handle incoming phone calls, messages, and general enquiries
- Maintain staff files, records, and folders in line with confidentiality requirements
- Support managers with general office administration
- Monitor staffing levels and highlight gaps or issues
- Help resolve rota conflicts and last minute changes
- Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Experience in an office or administrative role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good IT skills (email, Microsoft Office)
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Desirable:
- Experience in the care sector
- Team leading or supervisory experience
- Experience using rota or scheduling systems
