As our workload continues to grow, we’re searching for a proactive, detail‑focused individual to support our Mechanical Engineering team and help keep our projects running like clockwork. What You’ll Be Doing As our Engineering Coordinator, you’ll be right at the heart of the action: Planning & Engineering Support Keep engineering schedules, calendars, and trackers running smoothly Allocate work orders and monitor progress Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors Prepare job packs including drawings, materials lists, and documentation Procurement & Materials Management Raise purchase orders for materials, tools, and equipment Work directly with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and deliveries Support material buying/hire requests from engineers Manage stock levels and ensure materials meet technical specifications Documentation & Compliance Prepare and issue RAMS for engineering tasks Maintain document control—manuals, certificates, drawings, safety documentation Support internal & external audits Ensure HSE documents meet regulatory and company standards Administration & Reporting Produce progress reports, procurement summaries, and performance updates Keep records, meeting minutes, and action logs organised Provide general admin support to the engineering leadership What You Bring Essential Excellent organisation and scheduling abilities Experience purchasing or dealing with suppliers Strong communication skills Confident with Microsoft Office (ERP/MRP is a bonus) Ability to multitask and deliver against deadlines Full driving licence Desirable Background in engineering/manufacturing/technical coordination Understanding of mechanical workflows Experience with RAMS or HSE documentation Comfortable reading engineering drawings IOSH or similar safety training What You’ll Get in Return We believe in looking after our people.
