Reports to the Onboarding Data & Reporting Manager
With a focus on driving excellent client service and understanding the needs of our clients, we are continually enhancing the onboarding approach. As a result, we are looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst to join the newly established Onboarding Centre of Excellence.
The individual will be responsible for elements of the client onboarding journey that touch-upon data migration, bespoke report testing, financial reporting and applications set-up. This will encompass the onboarding journey for migrations and new structure set-ups across our jurisdictions, markets and services.
In addition, the role holder will be expected to actively seek and implement best practice into onboarding processes to ensure the Onboarding Centre of Excellence adopts a continuous improvement mindset. This will be supported by the opportunity to complete project management qualifications / training.
Key responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
* Supporting the Onboarding Data & Reporting Manager with executing the data migration process when migrating new clients to Aztec systems from a previous service provide or from in-house for first-time outsourcers.
* Working with the Onboarding Data & Reporting Manager to extract, reconcile and transfer data, including mapping general ledgers, transaction types, investor allocation rules.
* Resolving data extraction or loading issues and helping troubleshoot any issues that may arise when migrating data.
* Help build and test financial reports based on client requirements.
* Work with the Onboarding Centre of Excellence team to ensure the optimal system set-up of all new clients / entities / structures across FIA, Yardi and Viewpoint so that clients can benefit from full system functionality.
* Work with other areas of Client Services to ensure the adoption of best practice processes and identification of automation opportunities.
* Be able to escalate issues on a timely basis that may impact the successful delivery of the onboarding process.
Skills, knowledge, expertise:
* Experience in a fund administration business.
* Experience in data migrations, using a range of related platforms, including financial reporting software (desired but not a requirement).
* An interest in technology, especially data management technology.
* Market awareness and knowledge of the jurisdictions, products and services of Aztec.
* Strong communication skills (both internal to the business and external).
* Detail-orientated and problem solving skills.
* Team player.
* Strong alignment to Aztec Group values.
* Ability to quickly learn new information, processes and procedures.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and proactively identify and deal with problems.
* A self-starter with the ability to work independently on concurrent initiatives.
* Continuous improvement mindset and experience in identifying process and efficiency improvements.
