Join to apply for the Behavioural Learning Support role at Monarch Education Recruitment.
A Primary School located in Halesowen is looking to recruit a Behavioural Learning Support to assist a Year 4 boy with challenging behaviours. The school prefers a male candidate but is open to suitable applicants of any gender. A keen interest in sports would be advantageous, especially in using sports to calm situations and support behavioural management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with challenging behaviours and be resilient in implementing behaviour strategies.
There has been an increase in exclusions during the past academic year, prompting the SENCO to enhance behavioural support for at-risk pupils. The successful candidate will:
1. Be experienced supporting children with challenging behaviours.
2. Have worked 1:1 and in small groups with SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health Needs).
3. Maintain a calm, nurturing approach with clear expectations.
4. Have a keen interest in sports.
5. Be confident in building positive relationships with pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds to support their social and academic progress.
This role offers a great opportunity for individuals passionate about helping children enjoy learning and reach their potential.
We are committed to equal opportunities and safeguarding. The application process includes references and an enhanced DBS check.
