The role
As a Bid Manager, you’ll coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to develop winning bids and proposals that meet client requirements for Compliance, Cost, and Credibility.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Developing Bid Management Book Plans (response and author allocations) and Bid Management Plans (Schedules and Resource Estimates).
* Managing authors and stakeholders through Kick-Off meetings, Stand-Up meetings, and weekly bid management reports.
* Using Microsoft Dynamics for pipeline reporting and Microsoft SharePoint for bid document control.
* Supporting the development and delivery of the Shipley-aligned Babcock Proposal Management Business Growth Lifecycle activities, including Black Hat, Blue Team, Pink Team, Red Team, Green Team, Gold Team, and White Team reviews.
This role is full-time with hybrid working arrangements: 2 days in the office and 3-5 days remote.
Essential experience
* Experience in business growth activities with success on major defence programmes.
* Proficiency in recognised Business Growth methodologies such as Shipley.
* Experience building relationships and leading cross-functional teams.
* Ability to manage and lead senior-level internal meetings with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
* Degree qualification.
