Job Title: Assistant Store Manager Salary: £29,500 per annum (OTE) Hours: 40 hours per week | Any 5 days out of 7 (Monday-Sunday) Location: Byfleet Do you have experienced of working within management / leadership positions? Job Responsibilities: Coach, support and motivate team members to achieve strong performance Provide regular feedback and recognise positive contribution Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging working environment Full responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence Opening and closing procedures and daily operational tasks Oversee customer enquiries, call handling, up selling and administration Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and security are maintained Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies Deliver consistently excellent customer service Support achievement of store targets, sales growth and cost control Monitor local competitors and market activity Take ownership of key performance indicators and financial contribution Key Skills / Experience: Experience supervising, leading or managing at least one team member Experience acting as the senior person on shift (e.g. supervisor, team leader, key holder or duty manager) Confidence making day-to-day operational decisions independently Background in a customer-facing environment such as retail, hospitality, leisure, call centres or facilities management Strong communication and people-management skills A proactive, solution-focused approach Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure JDRCC JDR is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
