Benefits: Mon-Fri Days role Overtime opportunities Ongoing training and development Remit: Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience in setting, conditioning and optimizing injection moulding machinery This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Injection Moulding Setter to join a forward-thinking company who place great importance on the training and development of their staff Role: Set up and operate plastic injection moulding machines according to production schedules. Install mould tools, set machine parameters, and conduct first-off inspections. Troubleshoot machine, tool, and material issues to minimize downtime. Monitor production to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and moulds. Work collaboratively with Quality, Toolroom, and Production teams. Maintain accurate records of settings, tooling changes, and downtime. Adhere to health & safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Experience Requirements: Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter Strong understanding of plastic injection moulding processes, materials, and tooling. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Familiar with processing a variety of thermoplastics. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Experience with machines such as Negri Bossi, Borche, Krauss, or similar (desirable). Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible reliable, and able to manage time effectively. Good communication and reporting skills.
