Main duties of the job
To lead on designatedaspects of service in collaboration with Clinical Quality Leads, Team Leads,and Highly Specialist Therapists, ensuring high standards of child-centred careare achieved. To provide highly specialist PT input in your area of specialismand to design and develop evidence-based treatment plans and managementprogrammes following assessment.

Job responsibilities
To contribute to the development of the Physiotherapist service inyour area of specialism and to participate in the review and updating ofpolicies and procedures.
To provide clinical support for Physiotherapist staff todevelop their skills in the area of specialism through training, secondopinions, and joint working, while supervising assistants, PT students, andless experienced Physiotherapists.
To manage your own caseload in a range ofsettings, providing highly specialist interventions and offering information toparents, carers, and other professionals.
To maintain continuous professional developmentin your area of specialism and to inform the Clinical Quality Leads and TeamLeads of the impact of research, policy, etc., on local policies andprocedures.
To participate and promote Clinical Governance,thus ensuring the highest quality of practice is maintained, within theservice.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* HCPC registered.
* Degree In Physiotherapy or equivalent.
* Registered member of British Association of OT/Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
* Previous Experience of working as Paediatric Physiotherapist in NHS with System One knowledge.
* UK Driving License and Car Owner.
