About the role: Weâre looking for a talented Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join the Client Services Team at our Island in Christchurch. Youâll work with some of the UKâs most-loved brands, leading the delivery of campaigns that go Beyond Expectation. As the key contact for your clients, youâll collaborate with our Creative and Strategy teams, run multiple integrated projects, and mentor junior team membersâdriving excellence from briefing to delivery. This is a hybrid role.
About you: Youâre an experienced account handler with a marketing or advertising (or similar) background, with at least 4 yearsâ experience managing multiâchannel campaigns. You know how to leadânot just supportâprojects. Youâve briefed creative teams, owned budgets, run timelines, and built strong, strategic relationships with clients. You love clarity, process, and momentumâand you bring energy, warmth, and a canâdo attitude into every interaction.
â Please note: You must have proven experience leading client accounts and managing creative/marketing projects from start to finish. If your background is internal marketing or sales without account management ownership, this isnât the right role.
Key responsibilities include:
* Dayâtoâday management of one or more accounts and all projects within them
* Turning client briefs into smart, actionable creative briefs
* Running project budgets, timelines, resource planning, and proofing
* Presenting creative work and confidently leading client meetings
* Line managing and mentoring junior team members
* Contributing to outreach and marketing initiatives
* Tracking key metrics and identifying upsell opportunities
* Ensuring everything we deliver is on time, on budget, and to the highest standard
What weâre looking for:
* 4+ years in an agencyâside client services role (SAM or similar)
* Confident managing digital, print, social, marketing, and email campaigns
* Skilled at writing creative briefs and managing multiâfunctional teams
* High attention to detail and strong proofing skills
* Proactive, solutionâfocused mindset with strong initiative
* Experience mentoring or lineâmanaging junior team members
* Ability to think both strategically and tactically
* Strong IT skills and familiarity with standard industry tools
