Salary: £19,980 - £21,641 pro-rata

We have vacancies available for full and part-time Special Support Assistants, 8.30am-3.30pm, Mon-Fri, term time only on both a permanent and supply basis. Salary grade 5 or 6 depending on experience. Full training will be provided to support your professional development.
What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to:
* be able to provide educational and personal support to children with learning, social and communication, physical, medical, sensory and/or behavioural difficulties and needs, both in and out of school within the school day.
* be able to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
* support in all areas of learning, social and emotional and physical development
* supervise and provide particular support for pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
* be proactive in creating learning opportunities for all learners.
* promote independence, self-esteem and confidence.
