You will manage the recovery and disposal of recovered assets, assist with setting Residual Values, and provide in-life asset valuations across the business at loan inception and in default scenarios.
This is a newly created role, offering you the opportunity to have a meaningful and visible impact on the business by achieving above trade valuations on asset sales and minimizing losses.
Working hours and location
Standard work hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The Collections and Recoveries team is based at our Wellingborough head office and typically works onsite three days per week. Travel to client sites for asset inspections will be discussed based on your home location.

What You Will Do
* Own the Asset Recovery and Sale Process to maximize returns by exploring cost-effective remarketing channels
* Support Residual Value end-of-term assets to ensure immediate payment and loan completion, and initiate asset recovery as needed
* Provide Asset valuations to our Credit, Risk, and Collections/Recoveries teams
* Oversee Asset Management to support current and future credit decisions
* Conduct client visits/asset inspections to assess condition, maintenance, and safekeeping of assets
* Maintain and grow relationships with Recovery Agents to facilitate prompt asset recovery
* Build an approved pool of Remarketing Agents to support industry-leading asset remarketing
* Produce accurate Management Information to demonstrate strategic approaches, achievements, and challenges
What You Will Bring
* At least five years' experience as an Asset Manager dealing with various asset classes
* If less than five years' experience, DIPAF or MICM certification is required
* Experience in both regulated and non-regulated loan environments
Nice to Have
* Background in mechanics, engineering, or related fields
