Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Trumpf Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Trumpf punch machines, ensuring high-quality production of metal parts and components. This is a permanent role with long-term development opportunities within a rapidly expanding company.
Location and Contract Details
* Location: Ballykelly
* Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent
* Working Hours: 40 hours/week, Night Shift on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

Main Responsibilities
1. Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate Trumpf punch machines according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment, tooling, and machine settings.
2. Material Handling: Load and feed raw sheet metal into the punch press accurately.
3. Quality Control: Inspect parts for accuracy and surface quality using measuring tools.
4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
5. Production Monitoring: Ensure production stays on schedule and adjust settings as needed.
6. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
7. Documentation: Keep accurate production logs and maintenance records.
8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to meet production goals.
9. Tooling Management: Change and maintain punch tools and dies.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience operating Trumpf punch presses or similar CNC punch machines
* Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and machine setup
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
* Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good communication skills and team spirit
* Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments is a plus
