Carriera is proud to be partnering exclusively with one of the world’s leading real estate consultancies to recruit a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join their London commercial team.
Our client has grown into one the largest global property consultancy, with offices and projects spanning every major market worldwide. Their reputation is built on delivering high-quality advice across a diverse portfolio of commercial clients and landmark projects.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Building Surveyor to join a collaborative team of eight professionals. This is a project-focused role where you will play a key part in delivering commercial schemes valued at up to £3 million, while also supporting a range of professional surveying services.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering both project and professional building surveying services, working closely with clients and colleagues across multiple disciplines.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading project delivery and contract administration on commercial refurbishment and improvement schemes up to £3m.
* Providing professional services including dilapidations, Technical Due Diligence (TDD), and landlord & tenant advice.
* Developing and maintaining strong client relationships to support repeat business and new instructions.
* Working collaboratively with internal teams to identify and support business development opportunities.
* Mentoring junior surveyors and contributing to the development of a high-performing team.
About You
* MRICS qualified with 0–2 years post-qualification experience.
* Strong background in commercial building surveying.
* Experience delivering project management and contract administration services.
* Exposure to dilapidations, TDD, and landlord & tenant matters would be advantageous.
* Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
