Role | Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary Experience | 1 years previous experience in a similar role Based | Luton Offer | £26,000 - £28,000 per annum – depending on experience We are working with a fantastic law firm based on the outskirts of Luton who are looking to hire a Legal Secretary to join their Residential Conveyancing team. They’re ideally looking for a secretary with a background within Residential Conveyancing, however they would be open to discussing the role with candidates from a different legal background. Typical duties would include: * Supporting solicitors and partners with the day-to-day running of their files. * The production of documents and correspondence using audio/copy typing. * Undertaking searches and processing post-completion actions. * Setting up new files accurately and speedily on instruction. * Dealing promptly and accurately with all filing and storage/retrieval requirements. The successful candidate: * Previous experience as a secretary, preferably in Residential Conveyancing. * Excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and oral communication. * Proven audio typing experience. * Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage workload efficiently. * IT literate – proven IT skills, including case management systems, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
