A client in the UK public-sector industry is seeking for a Personnel Security Consultant to join the team for 12 weeks. You will support the development of a future security operating model, working closely with senior program leadership.
The objective of the project is to assess the current security workforce, define future capabilities and embed a sustainable, business-as-usual governance structure.
Responsibilities
• Develop a Security Concept of Operations and evolve the existing Target Operating Model
• Map and define roles, skills and accountabilities across physical, personnel and cyber domains
• Identify capability gaps and conduct Training Needs Analysis
• Recommend which security functions should be retained in-house versus delivered by third parties
• Create a security workforce change roadmap and sustainable operating model process
Requirements
• Strong background in personnel security, workforce assessment and organisational design
• Experience working in complex public-sector or regulated environments
• Proven ability to develop operating models and role definitions
• Understanding of physical, personnel and cyber security interdependencies
• Ability to provide strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and operate within structured SOW delivery
