Senior Governance Manager
Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid working (2 days in-office per week)
£44,709 – £53,347 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Governance Manager to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation delivering impactful change across a national service.
About the Role
This is a key leadership role within a central change and digital team, with responsibility for embedding strong governance, compliance, and assurance practices across transformation programmes. You will:
* Lead internal governance frameworks to ensure high-quality and consistent change delivery
* Be the main liaison point with external digital assurance stakeholders
* Manage a small team of governance and project support staff
* Support planning, reporting, and risk management across multiple projects
* Deliver training sessions and facilitate workshops on agile working and governance best practices
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in governance, compliance, or assurance within a change or transformation environment
* Certification or experience with Agile methodologies or project delivery frameworks
* Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Confident communicator with experience leading meetings, workshops, or training sessions
