About Our Opportunity
We are currently seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Warehouse Operative to join our team at MBA Worksop. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of our Warehouse and Logistics function, supporting the smooth and efficient running of our plant operations – including off-site storage. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our logistics activities deliver excellent service to both internal teams and external customers/suppliers, all while working within agreed standards and targets.
Shift pattern as follows: Mon-Fri 3-week rotation with BH hours 6am-2.30pm, 2pm-10.30pm,10pm -6.30am
What You Will Be Doing
As a Warehouse Operative you will:
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations and the company’s Quality Standards.
• Promote a positive safety culture across the factory.
• Understand and support the delivery and dispatch process.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Conduct periodic testing and sampling to ensure products meet specification.
• Transfer materials as instructed in line with production and despatch plans.
• Report any machinery or equipment issues immediately to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
• Operate a variety of company vehicles (when licensed), including; Front Loaders, FLTs (Counterbalance & Reach), Cherry Pickers, Telehandlers, and Pallet Trucks
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to achieve business objectives.
• Adhere to all site policies and procedures.
• Operate safely at all times.
• Keep accurate records and ensure all documentation is kept up to date.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
• Has previous experience in a warehouse or factory environment (preferred).
• Works effectively as part of a team.
• Has completed warehouse training modules.
• Holds an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Possesses valid licenses for Front-end Loader, FLT, Reach, and Counterbalance equipment.
