I’m recruiting for a well-established independent, manufacturer-approved garage that is expanding its workshop team due to continued demand. The business offers a stable, well-organised working environment with long-term earning potential.
This role would suit either a Diagnostic Technician or a Service & Repair Technician looking for realistic bonuses, proper workshop investment, and consistent hours.
Responsibilities
* Servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to a high standard
* Diagnostic fault-finding using manufacturer and aftermarket equipment (for Diagnostic Technician role)
* Working on ICE, hybrid and EV vehicles
* Accurate completion of job cards and workshop documentation
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Service & Repair Technician
* Strong mechanical knowledge of modern vehicle systems
* EV or hybrid exposure beneficial but not essential
* MOT licence advantageous but not required
* A reliable, professional approach and strong attention to detail
Salary and Benefits
* Diagnostic Technician: £36,000 – £38,000 basic
* Service & Repair Technician: £34,000 – £36,000 basic
* Bonus scheme in place – current technicians have averaged £5,000 per year over the last four years
* Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm, 1-in-2 Saturdays: 8:30am – 1:00pm
