Start Date: As soon as possible
This is an exciting opportunity at Headlands School, specifically within the enhanced resource provision, The ARC, Bridlington. We are an Ofsted-rated Good school committed to providing high-quality education for our local community. Our school is built upon shared values: pride, aspire, respect.
We are seeking a tenacious, highly organized individual with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with all members of our school community. The role involves supervising students, coordinating work from relevant subject areas to ensure access to the curriculum, and working with students with SEN/SEMH needs.
Experience working with young people with challenging behaviors and complex needs is advantageous but not essential. Your ability to serve as an inspiring role model and promote an ethos of raising aspirations is equally important. You should be confident in your use of IT and responsible for supporting students in their use of technology. Candidates must be educated to a good standard and willing to undertake further training to support professional development. A strong work ethic and a desire to grow within this role are essential.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. The appointment will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
We can offer you:
* Opportunities for learning and development with good further training
* Free Car Parking
* Free Gym Facilities
* A supportive team environment that prioritizes staff wellbeing, including access to a free staff Counsellor service
While we prefer candidates to apply online, applications can also be obtained via our website if needed.
