The Role:
City Circle Group offer a dedicated group travel service to incoming tourism and corporate charter markets from their bases in London and Edinburgh.

Dealing with corporate transport, conferences, product launches, AGMs and ad-hoc or regular requirements to move people between locations City Circle with endeavour to provide the right solution for each client.
To drive company vehicles to provide an efficient, reliable, quality coach service in accordance with DVLA and safety legislation. To follow the tour instructions as per the work ticket / information or the directions of the client.
Ensuring the safety of passengers, vehicles, employees and other road users at all times.
Responsibilities:
1. To drive any company vehicle in accordance with the legal requirements and company procedures following duties allocated by the Operations Team
2. To communicate with customers in a clear concise and polite manner and to ensure that they are respected and made to feel welcome
3. To follow all legislative requirements concerning Drivers’ hours regulations, including the use of tachographs.
4. To ensure that any vehicle is driven with due care and attention, ensuring the safety of the passengers and general public
5. To ensure that defensive driving is practiced throughout every journey, being aware of potential hazards and how to avoid them, complying with company procedures when parking or handing over vehicles
6. To ensure the Driver ‘walk round check’ and defect procedure is fully completed to ensure safety and road-worthy condition of the vehicle
7. To report any incident that involves injury, damage to any passenger, pedestrian or third-party property immediately, in line with company procedures
8. To carry out duties safely in accordance with all company and legal requirements, and be fully conversant with the duty of employees under the Health & Safety legislations
9. To promote the company generally and do everything possible to enhance the company’s image through appearance and behaviour, ensuring that they report for duty sober, in smart uniform and on time
Key Performance Indicators:
10. Complete each job without any accidents, complaints and with the minimum of fuss
11. Compliance with tachograph and Drivers’ hours regulations
12. Reporting any coach defect immediately
13. Care to be taken to ensure parking tickets are at a minimum
Essential Qualifications:
14. PCV Licence with Category D or D & E (Manual)
15. Proven coach driving experience
16. Willingness to work flexible
17. Ability to stay calm under pressure
18. Driver CPC training
Desirable Qualifications:
19. First Aid at work certificate
